Terms and Conditions - Cedar Mists Cottage
The terms and conditions of the holiday letting are as follows.
Departure from these terms and conditions permits the owner(s) or their agent to refuse the key, amend the charge or immediately terminate the occupancy.1. Deposit: Your deposit secures your booking. For tenancy lead times of more than 60 days the required deposit is 25% of the agreed tariff. For tenancy lead times of 30 to 60 days a deposit of 50% of the agreed tariff is payable. The balance is payable 14 days prior to your tenancy. Where final payment is not received after several requests, the booking may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
2. Full Payment: Full payment is required if the booking date is less than 30 days before your arrival.
3. Cancellation Notice: If notice of cancellation is received more than 45 days prior to your tenancy your deposit less a cancellation fee of $50 will be refunded. If cancellation is advised between 45 and 30 days prior to your tenancy your deposit will be credited against a future stay within 6 months of the scheduled date of tenancy. If less than 30 days, the deposit will be forfeited unless the scheduled dates can be re-booked for the same or greater tariff. A late cancellation of $100 will then apply. If the re-booking is at a lesser tariff a proportional forfeiture of deposit will apply plus a late cancellation fee of $100.
4. Use of Premises: The premises are let to you for holiday purposes only and only for the period stated on the itinerary. No weddings, parties or gatherings are allowed on the premises unless agreed to by the owners by prior arrangement.
5. Number of Guests: All tariffs are quoted and invoiced on a per person basis. The number of people occupying the premises must not exceed the number of people that are booked for your tenancy. If you wish to have other guests join you it must be by prior arrangement and additional tariff will be payable.
6. Pets: Generally not allowed and never without prior approval.
7. Motorised Recreational Vehicles: Not permitted anywhere on the site or on Misty Lane (the access road to the premises from Jamberoo Mountain Rd).
8. Guest Behaviour: Please respect the rights of our neighbours to enjoy their properties without disturbance.
9. The Premises are presented to guests in good order and condition upon arrival. Please leave them reasonably tidy upon your departure. All damage, breakages or loss of items from the premises must be paid for.
10. We reserve the right to decline tenancy requests or deny access to the premises of people that we deem to be unsuitable tenants.
